This is the second half of the Atlantics' CBS Records output. Like the first volume, it sports a lot of good stuff, mostly Shadows-like, but with more angst.

Guitar War (Instrumental)

A hefty title and little else. None too interesting. Thick racing pace and stinging guitars, but not much melody. Still, the "battle" scene on guitars is pretty cool.

Russian Surf (Instrumental)

Russian folk dance inspired number. From the original CBS Australia album.

Raging Oz (Instrumental)

A raging drum performance, melodic and very cool. From the original CBS Australia album.

MOR (Instrumental)

The drum intro is sorta "Hawaii Five-0" like, but the track is a timid Shadows-like number that approached MOR.

Galloping (Instrumental)

Galloping horse drum cadence and a racing pace in a Shadows-like song. From the original CBS Australia album.

Lawrence Welk (Instrumental)

If the Shadows were a Lawrence Welk side project, they'd sound like this. From the original CBS Australia album.

Shadows Big Chord Folk (Instrumental)

Stinging whammy intro to a big chord Shadows folk dance thing with thin sound. From the original CBS Australiaa album.

Shadows Pretty (Instrumental)

Pretty Shadows clone melodic rock. From the original CBS Australia album.

Classical (Instrumental)

Mediocre version of an often rocked classical piece. From the original CBS Australia album.

Hot Vibrato Shimmer (Instrumental)

Vibrato tune with a jam quality and a bit of raging double picked guitar here and there, plus a tad of shimmer and a lot of shouts of joy while the drum solo rages. From the original CBS Australia album.

Squad Car Surf (Instrumental)

Fade in intro chord and sirens, and an ominous lead belting out stinging notes. A really cool song.

Rock (Instrumental)

Moderately interesting track with a nice melody riff. Their speedy drums under the mid tempo Shadows sound works well here.

Las Vegas Grind (Instrumental)

Las Vegas Grind rhythms, a chunky chords, and tribal beats. This is very cool for sure, with lots of drum action and camel nose under the tent.

Surf-like (Instrumental)

Intense racing tune. Big whammy chord dramatic. If it were double picked, it could be a grand surf tune.

John Barry (Instrumental)

Solid cover, more than John Barry Euro spy guitar and less than surf. Bonus Track.

Ventures (Instrumental)

Almost reverbed. It's "Bumble Bee" a la the Ventures with angst. Bonus Track.

Surf (Instrumental)

Low and grindy, the lead is so Mancini, and the rhythm is vibratoed underneath. Very cool version.

Rock (Instrumental)

This cover of the Fireballs' tune "Chief Whoopin' Koff" is timid, though it does have considerable twang and echo.

Rock (Instrumental)

There's no whirl here, and there's no lead guitar through the first three verses, like a backtrack. Yet, once the lead does arrive, it gets to be pretty interesting. It sounds somewhat undeveloped, yet is unusual and curiously magnetic.

MOR (Instrumental)

Euro guitar MOR floating prettiness. Quite undeveloped and directionless. It has to be a backtrack.
