 | All four tracks here are covers of Los Straitjacket covers of classic Christmas instros. They may not break any new ground, but they are very enjoyable. |

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen

Surf (Instrumental)
This splendidly liquid version of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" runs atop a Pipeline-esq rhythm track that gives it a very surf feeling, and a bit of a dark underbelly. The break is liberated from Del Shannon's "Run Away." Thoroughly cool.
Surf (Instrumental)
With the rhythm opener from the Exports' "Car Hop," "Here Comes Santa Claus" quickly becomes a groovy surf rocker. Their arrangement is more or less borrowed from Los Straitjackets, but that doesn't stop it from being very enjoyable.
Surf (Instrumental)
"Jingle Bell Rock" rings true in the surf idiom. The performance is in some ways delicate, but the warmth of the holiday hearth comes through.
Sleigh Ride
Surf (Instrumental)
"Walk Don't Run" serves as a rhythm bed for "Sleigh Ride." This is a smooth and watery cover of this traditional Christmas song. Very nice
