Track by Track Review
Surf (Instrumental)
Shimmering vibrato guitar spread across the panorama as images of a moody island emerge. The flowing melody line is painted on a gentle breeze. A very nice track.
Surf (Instrumental)
A slithery introductory tour to the next track. Very pretty.
Surf (Instrumental)
Sinewy sounds of the underground, mid tempo melodic spy theme, plinky sock hop rhythms, for the cavedwellers. Unusual, like a romantic scene for the C.H.U.D.
Surf (Instrumental)
Silky chords, plunky percussion, shimmering guitar tones, immediate images of an island mystery. A backdrop for a little hanky panky. Very pretty track.
Surf (Instrumental)
Spirited, intense, rhythmic, magnetic, stinging. These are a few of the characteristics of this simple but pleasurable track. Dramatic and powerful.
Surf (Instrumental)
Pretty moody silky Italian movie magic. Very pretty shimmering chords, and delicate precise playing. A slow dance tune for the late night. Very nice.
Surf (Instrumental)
Like a radar trap for your watch, this track brings curious moody tropical images into your otherwise sullied mind.
Day In The Life Of A Private Eye

Surf (Instrumental)
I can see it now... trenchcoated brooding, rainy street corner nonchalant, weather rejecter turned up collar, spent stick of Cinnaburst on the earth side of a shoe... and just out of site, a cheating spouse undulates with a coconspirator. It's all too TV. The rhythmic writhings are too much for my mirror. Very cool.
Slow Dance For A Fast Girl

Surf (Instrumental)
Like you might think, a fifties slow dance backtrack, a shimmering lead guitar, a ringing rhythm guitar, and very romantic. There must be a movie waiting for this track.
Surf (Instrumental)
A cool jazz backtrack, a bit of airy keyboard, and a jazzy guitar line produce a very cool loungie afternooner.
Surf (Instrumental)
Pure clean tones, mid tempo prettiness, and shimmering guitar combine to produce a moderately alluring track.
Surf (Instrumental)
With the allure of "Harlem Nocturn," and the clarity of the Aqua velvets, this track oozes detective theme. Very pretty.
Surf (Instrumental)
Totally gross opening tones & tom toms and eerie spooky keys invoke images of the crickets filling the night air. Then, as you arrive at the body of the song, there emits an air of a deli in Venice, before a scene change to Prague. Movie stuff for sure. Like Captain Beefheart goes on vacation. Brilliant arrangement.
Surf (Instrumental)
Rippling water, exotic beaches, loungie moods, and femme fatale in fins. Very cool.
