"Nitro Express" is one loud thrasher. Soaring, tortured guitar lines and no remorse. Tonally and structurally loaded with anger and threatening intensity. Some pace changes bring in military drama, and layered guitars provide battle imagery. Among instros in this genre, "Nitro Express" is as effective and engaging as any I've heard.
