What Davie did for the surf medley, he does for holiday classic tracks. Very infectious, and so cool in that edgy biker fuzz! Davie Allan pioneered fuzz biker rock and Cycle-Delic fantasies. His intense tones have guided many a player to follow. "Stoked On Christmas" is a medley of Yule standards "Jingle Bell Rock," "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree," "Rudolf The Rednosed Reindeer," "White Christmas," "Blue Christmas," "Here Comes Santa Claus," "Feliz Navidad," a Davie Allan-Jim Pewter seasonal original called "Mistletoe," and closing with "Auld Lang Syne." The whole thing is done in Davie's monster fuzz style. It's available as a 7 inch single and on CD. A solid Davie Allan number, melodic and powerful as always. His sense of drama is employed. I don't care for the keys in this track much, but otherwise its quite good.
